How to Import Market Data
Getting your data into TradeSimPro takes less than five minutes. Follow the steps below to go from download to your first simulation.
Supported Data Format
TradeSimPro accepts CSV files with columns for Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume. Column order is auto-detected, so you do not need to edit files downloaded from HistData. If the volume column is missing, the simulator will still work — volume data is optional.
The simulator automatically aggregates 1-minute data into higher timeframes (5min, 15min, 1H, 4H, Daily, Weekly) during import. This means you only need the smallest timeframe available, and all others are built for you.
